Foursquare Foundation Scholarship
This Foursquare Foundation Scholarship is based on merit and financial eligibility. In order to be considered for this scholarship, students must first submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Using information from the FAFSA along with the student's grade point average (the cumulative GPA must be 3.30 or higher), the Financial Aid Office will then determine the applicant's eligiblity for the scholarship. The Foursquare Foundation Scholarship amount is determined after all other federal, state or institutional aid is awarded. This is also awarded on a first come, first serve basis until the funds are depleted.
How to Apply: Student must submit admission application and FAFSA and have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher.

Honors Scholarship
The Honors Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship. The award amount varies according to cumulative grade point average ranges. A student must submit a FAFSA and scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis until funds are depleted. The Financial Aid office will determine the recipients and award amount based on the student's FAFSA and cumulative GPA.
How to Apply: Student must submit an admission application and FAFSA.
Award Amount: $1000 - $3000 per year
Vocational Ministry Scholarship
- The applicant must be a full-time student at Life Pacific University, enrolled in a minimum of 12 units per semester.
- The applicant must be pursuing a 4-year bachelor of arts degree program and must major in Biblical Studies or Transformational Ministry.
- The applicant must have a 2.50 GPA or higher.
- The applicant must be in pursuit of a career in full-time vocational ministry.
- Applications will be available online only from October 25 to November 25.
- No late applications will be accepted.
The Bonita Unified School District Scholarship
This scholarship award recognizes a Christian student leader from the Bonita Unified School District who has consistently demonstrated high academic achievement and will perpetuate the mission of Life Pacific University during their academic studies and later in their chosen career. To fulfill this purpose, Life Pacific will assist a deserving student leader in achieving success in their academic, spiritual, and personal development.
Recipients will be eligible to receive an award up to $5,000. The scholarship is renewable if students maintain a minimum course load of 12 units with a 3.0 cumulative GPA each academic year. Students who do not meet renewal crieria may lose their scholarship. In addition to representing the institution at various functions, recipients may be required to participate in an intenrship and/or research project related to their area of study.
Eligibility Requirements:
- First-time freshman applicant to Life Pacific University
- Current student or graduate of the Bonita Unifed School District
- Must have a minimum high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale
- Demonstrated involvement in church, school, or community-related activities
- Demonstrated strong Christian commitment
Application Process:
- Complete an application for admission, including all supporting documents, on or before May 1st for the upcoming fall term.
- Complete the online scholarship application on or before May 1st for the upcoming fall term.
- The LPU Scholarship committee will review applications to select recipients. Recipients will be notified by June 1st.
Harvey Family Business Innovation Scholarship

The applicant must have a minimum high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale.

Student must remain in good standing with Life Pacific University student requirements.

Current Harvey Family Business Innovation Scholars are automatically renewed if student continues to meet scholarship criteria.

Complete a 500-word (min.) essay on how business can be used as a vehicle to serve people.

Life Grant
The Life Grant Scholarship is granted to dependents or spouses of licensed ministers who are actively serving and appointed to a church. Parents of the applicant must be a licensed minister, appointed to and serving in a local church or as a missionary, chaplain, or evangelist. Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 regular coursework units, maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher, and submit a Life Grant Scholarship application each year.

Endowed Scholarships
Endowed scholarships are derived from various donors, foundations, and alumni. Students may apply for the scholarship online during the spring semester. Endowed scholarships are only offered to students currently enrolled in the traditional programs at LPU. Scholarships are awarded during the spring semester for use during the following academic year and are facilitated through the Office of Advancement.

Resident Assistant Scholarship
The Resident Assistant Scholarship assists with covering a portion of room and board. Current LPU students must apply for the resident assistant position and the process is facilitated through the Office of Resident Director. Students may contact the Office of the Resident Director for more information.
How to Apply: Must be a current LPU student selected for resident assistant position.
Award Amount: $4,000.00 per year
Preview Scholarship and Other Admissions Scholarships
The Office of Admissions awards various scholarships to prospective students who apply during Preview Days and summer camps.
How to Apply: The application process varies per scholarship. Applications are available at various locations/events.
Award Amount: One time amount of $1,000.00
Athletic Scholarships
Athletic scholarships vary in amount and are determined by the Athletic Director and coaches.
Ministry & Leadership Grant
Licensed ministers are eligible to apply for the Life Pacific University Ministry & Leadership Grant, which offers students a $4,000 tuition discount. This grant is only available to students enrolled in the Degree Completion Program. Click here to view the Ministry & Leadership Grant Application.
Ministry Family Scholarship
The Ministry Family Scholarship is designed to support and giveback to ministry families. This scholarship is available to licensed and active ministers, their spouses, and their dependents. The scholarship is available starting the 2020/21 academic year. The scholarship is $1,400 per year and $2,800 for the entire program.
Eligibility:
- Must be enrolled full-time in an online associates program.
- Maintain an institutional GPA of at least 2.5.
- Must be a licensed and active minister in a recognized Christian denomination OR the dependent or spouse of a licensed and active minister.

Sonrise Christian School Employee Scholarship
Employees of Sonrise Christian School who enroll in a graduate program at LPU are eligible for a scholarship equivalent of up to 10% of their program tuition. Students enrolling in the M.A. in Strategic Leadership or M.A. in Leadership (Spanish language program) are eligible for a scholarship up to $1,850. Students enrolling in the M.A. in Theological Studies are eligible for a scholarship up to $2,470. This scholarship is available for those who begin their program in the 2020-21 academic year.
In order to qualify, a student must meet be admitted to the program and verify their employment at Sonrise Christian School. To verify employment and apply for the scholarship, complete this application.

Alabaster Legacy Scholarship
This scholarship is to empower women by providing funds for continued ministerial education. The goal of Women in Leadership is to enhance the capabilities and enlarge the perspective of women ministers while increasing their opportunity for further training.

Christian Community Credit Union "Scholarship for Success"
Christian Community Credit Union is offering $90,000 in scholarships availble. Students may receive a $1,000 scholarship that is renewable for up to 4 years for undergraduate students and up to 2 years for graduate students. The application period is February 03, 2020 to March 31, 2020. When applying, you will be asked about how you heard about the scholarship. Please respond "LPU, 1347SR" or "Suzee R."

Grant Programs
Federal Pell Grant
The Federal Pell Grant Program provides federal funds for students of qualifying families. To be eligible, an applicant must be a United States citizen or permanent resident, demonstrate financial need, and must not have previously earned a bachelor’s degree. Students may apply for the Pell Grant by filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Cal Grant
The Cal Grant program provides awards for California resident applicants who demonstrate financial need and meet GPA requirements. California resident students may apply by filling out the FAFSA and a GPA Verification Form. To be eligible for a fall semester award the student must submit a Cal Grant application and FAFSA by March 2nd.
California Dream Act
The California Dream Act is for non-SSN (social security number) students. Students must complete the online Dream Act Application and re-submit the Dream Act (Cal Grant) application online every year. Students who have never received the Dream Act (Cal Grant) must apply by the March 2nd deadline date and submit a non-SSN Cal Grant form.
