How to Apply
Complete the steps below to apply for admission to LPU Online. When your application and all supporting documentation is received, you will receive an admission decision within 5 business days.
1. Apply Online
The online application takes 20 minutes to complete, but if needed, you may save your progress and finish later.
2. Submit Personal Essay
Write a 2 to 3 page essay addressing your salvation experience, present walk with the Lord, church involvement, and your future goals. Once you apply, you may submit your essay through our online portal or email email@example.com.
3. Submit Character Reference
You must provide a recommendation letter or reference form, completed by a Christian pastor, leader, or mentor who knows you well. The person completing your reference must send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
4. Request Transcripts
You must submit official transcripts from all colleges you have previously attended. If you have not attended college or have completed less than 24 units, you must submit official high school transcripts. Once you apply, you may submit transcripts through our online portal or email email@example.com.
In order to be admitted to Life Pacific University, a student must demonstrate that they are academically and spiritually prepared to succeed in their intended program of study. Students applying for the online associate's degree program must meet the requirements listed below. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
- Earned a high school diploma (or equivalent) or completed at least 24 transferable college-level units.
- Provide official high school and/or college transcripts meeting a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrate commitment to a Christian worldview and lifestyle, consistent with the university's statement of faith and code of conduct.
- Must understand, read, speak, and write fluently in the English language.
Dates and Deadlines
Students may begin this program in either the fall or spring each year. We utilize a rolling admission deadline which means students can apply and enroll at any time before the start of a new semester. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible to ensure there is sufficient time to complete the admissions and financial aid process.
