How to Apply

Complete the steps below to apply for admission to LPU Online to earn your associate's or bachelor's degree. When your application and all supporting documentation is received, you will receive an admission decision within 5-10 business days. 

1. Apply Online

The online application takes 20 minutes to complete, but if needed, you may save your progress and finish later. Once you submit your application, you will be assigned an admissions counselor and provided access to an online portal to submit supporting documents.

If you have not completed any college level work, click here to apply as a first-time college student.
If you have completed college level work, click here to apply as a transfer student.

2. Submit Personal Essay

You must submit a two to three page well-written essay about your faith background. The essay must address the following: your salvation experience; present walk with the Lord; church involvement; and your future career and/or ministry goals. 

3. Submit Character Reference

You must provide a recommendation letter or reference form, completed by a Christian pastor, leader, or mentor who knows you well.

4. Request Transcripts

If you are a first-time college student, you must submit official high school transcripts with a posted graduation date. If you are currently attending high school at the time of your application, you may submit in-progress transcripts.

If you are a transfer student, you must submit official transcripts from any and all colleges where you were previously enrolled. If you you have completed less than 24 trasnferable units, you must also submit official high school transcripts. 

Admission Requirements

In order to be admitted to Life Pacific University, a student must demonstrate that they are academically and spiritually prepared to succeed in their intended program of study. Students applying for an online undergraduate degree must meet the requirements listed below prior to enrollment.  Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

  • Earned a high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Provide official high school and/or college transcripts meeting a minimum cummulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Demonstrate commitment to a Christian worldview and lifestyle, consistent with the university's statement of faith and code of conduct.
  • Must understand, read, speak, and write fluently in the English language. 

Dates and Deadlines

Students may enroll in either the fall or spring each year. To see specific start dates, view the academic calendar. LPU utilizes a rolling admission deadline which means students can apply and enroll at any time before the start of a new semester. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible to ensure there is sufficient time to complete the admissions and financial aid process.
