Develop the skills to become an effective leader.

The B.A. in Organizational Management is an online Degree Completion Program (DCP) that will cover resource management, team building, communication, critical thinking, and decision-making, all from a biblical worldview. These critical elements prepare students for fields such as business management, executive leadership, human resources, ministry, leadership, and marketing management. This program is designed for leaders whose responsibilities and schedules do not permit enrollment in a traditional college program. Ideal students are highly motivated and range in age from late 20's to 50+.
Students must transfer in 72 outside units. They must have completed 60 of those units before beginning the DCP; the remaining 12 units may be completed during the DCP or afterward.
DCP curriculum consists of 16 five-week-long, three-unit courses offered in sequential series over 18 months. Each online course incorporates both textbooks and audio/visual media as a means of presenting course materials.
Each week students are responsible for submitting written work (including reflection papers, research projects, reading reviews, Biblical exegesis, and more), which incorporates analysis and practical application of the course materials.
Students should plan to devote a minimum of 12 to 15 hours per week to coursework, spread out over the course of the week. The online format provides for great personal flexibility, making it possible for students to work around diverse schedule constraints including travel as well as family, organizational and ministry obligations.
Students go through the DCP as part of a cohort of 15 to 30 fellow learners. Cohorts move as a group from class to class, fostering the development of ongoing relationships and mutual support. New cohorts are formed each spring and fall.
Weekly discussion boards, on which students interact both with instructors and with one another, provide opportunity for dynamic exchanges of ideas and feedback.
Ashton Fish, ‘15 is the Next Gen Director or the Southern California District of Foursquare Churches. Ashton says, "The Degree Completion Program has been the best way for me to engage my college studies. With five weeks to focus on each subject, I increased my focus and capacity to learn. The online format and professor accessibility also helped me to complete my work in the midst of a busy travel schedule. I highly recommend this program for any busy leader!”
"I had a tremendous experience in the program. The relationships that I built over the 18 months of attending were invaluable to the learning experience. The class format and load were very appropriate for the working student. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the DCP.” – Marvin Enriquez, M.A. Clinical Psychology, Former Chaplain Union Rescue Mission, CA; Community Life Pastor at Christian Assembly
Nico Kay, ‘14 is a Pastor in Nashua, New Hampshire. Nico says, "The DCP allowed me to keep a promise I made to myself 30 years earlier, to finish my bachelor’s degree. I’m a huge believer in life-long learning and it seemed hypocritical for me to tell church planters and other young leaders, ‘Continued learning at all stages of your life is essential…’ when I had seemingly stalled out on my chosen degree course. The DCP has prepared me to proceed toward my master’s degree and better equipped me as a leader to face the challenges presented by our rapidly-changing world.”
