LPU Press Room | March 13, 2020

Hello LPU Community,

The health and well-being of LPU students, faculty and staff is the top priority of University officials. There are currently no cases of COVID-19 reported at LPU. University officials are monitoring daily the guidelines from the CDC, the California Public Health, and the LA County Public Health.

Out of an abundance of caution, Life Pacific University will be moving all in-person classes to online or modified formats beginning Monday, March 16th through Spring Break March 30th. Students will be receiving communication from their professors regarding specific course requirements.

University housing will remain open, as will dining services. University officials will continue to assess this decision as public health agencies provide recommendations.

Please continue to practice good hygiene: wash your hands frequently, cover coughs and sneezes, refrain from hugging and shaking hands, and stay home if you are sick. If you have a fever or other flu-like symptoms, please contact the LPU Health and Wellness Center immediately at cduzik@lifepacific.edu.

We appreciate your patience and vigilance as we navigate this evolving situation.
