Effective July 1, 2020, Dr. Dorothy Kropf will serve as the new Director of Online Undergraduate Programs at Life Pacific University, which includes Degree Completion programs and the newly launched Online A.A. degree.

Dr. Kropf served the Life Pacific University community with great care for many years as an Adjunct Faculty member and Faculty Assistant for Online Learning. She supported faculty, staff, and students with educational technology, data collection, and data analysis. Life Pacific is thrilled to welcome Dr. Kropf back in her new role as LPU expands its online undergraduate offerings.

Dr. Ruarte, Vice President of Academic Affairs, shares, "We are in a unique moment in history, and as an institution, we have grown from one online degree to eight in a matter of years. Our online degree enrollment continues to increase every year, and we have much development to do in our new online undergraduate programs. Dr. Kropf brings the expertise we need for such a season; her instructional design experience and knowledge of effective online pedagogy will benefit us all. She will make us stronger as we move into more online offerings. We look forward to her leadership!"

Dr. Kropf holds a Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in Educational Technology and has extensive experience with online instructional design and pedagogy. She has published academic research in online learning and the use of technology in educational settings. She is also a content creator and educator who has developed faculty and student training for Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other technology-based systems.
