Message From Dan Stewart
Welcome to Life Pacific College! Since 1923, LIFE has been a training ground for men and women pursuing the call to ministry that God has placed on their lives. Whether training students to become pastors, teachers, or businessmen, the goal of LIFE is to create godly Christian leaders who will promote and advance the Kingdom of God. As president of this college, I count it a blessing and a privilege to partner with top quality faculty and staff in shaping the lives of these Christian leaders to see their effectiveness in ministry increase as they gain a deeper understanding of the Word of God.
While browsing through our website, take note of the exciting opportunities LIFE has to offer you. Along with our excellent degree programs, LIFE also works in conjunction with local churches so that our students may also gain practical, hands on training as part of their studies. It is my passion to see them infuse the local church and become actively involved in the ministry even before they have completed their degree.
Thank you for taking time to visit our website. If you are interested in receiving more information about the college or would like to visit the campus, please contact us and we will be glad to serve you. Thanks for taking advantage of this electronic window into our college – we are even better in person!
Rev. Dan Stewart has served as president of Life Pacific College since August, 2003. Before becoming president, he built years of teaching experience at LIFE, Azusa Pacific University, and George Fox University. He and his wife Connie have served in ministry for 30 years, including 25 years as senior pastors. They most recently pastored Evergreen Christian Center in Hillsboro, OR, with an attendance of over 1500. In addition, President Dan has led annual missions and study trips to East Africa and Israel for the past 17 years, and in the Foursquare Denomination, he served as L.E.A.D. Director in the National Church Office, overseeing and training Pastors to be lifelong learners, and as Director of Empowering Leaders with the Foursquare Church Health Office. He is currently one of the pastors of Sunday Morning Chapel, a church plant which meets on the Life Pacific College campus. We are blessed that the Lord has directed him to serve our college as president.
