President Dan Stewart Transitions out of Office of the President
After serving for five years as the President of Life Pacific College, President Dan R. Stewart is transitioning out of the Office of the President to focus on his passions for teaching and the local church.
“Upon reviewing my passions and giftings to the Body of Christ, my greatest joy is the local church and being a professor at the college. And so, with the blessing of our denominational leaders and the college’s Board of Trustees, I will be transitioning back to these roles, knowing there will be great fruit in this new season,” said President Stewart.
Spring 2008 will be President Stewart’s last semester in office.
Since President Stewart came into office in the fall of 2003, 417 students have graduated and 180 have sought and obtained Foursquare ministerial credentials in tandem with their graduation. Many more have gone on to be licensed once they settled into their new ministry roles across the country. President Stewart also placed a priority on fiscal responsibility, paying off a $6 Million debt. He created the Presidential Leaders Scholarship program, received WASC accreditation, and launched the online Degree Completion program.
The Board of Trustees will begin the search process for naming a new President of Life Pacific College, and President Stewart will continue to serve at the discretion of the Board, seeking to bring about a smooth transition.
