The Board of Trustees at Life Pacific College appointed an Interim President in May 2008. Dr. Robert Flores from West Salem, OR will serve in the interim role for up to one year as the Board engages in a formal presidential search.
Robert and his wife DeeDee are the founding pastors of West Salem Foursquare Church in West Salem, OR. In addition to serving as faithful pastors for the last 14 years, Robert has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Foursquare Church for the last six years. He comes to LIFE well connected to churches in the field as well as to denominational leadership.
The Flores are no strangers to Life Pacific College. DeeDee was a member of the Class of 2008, having just finished the Degree Completion Program. Their son, Bo, just completed his junior year at LIFE. And their daughter Kristin, a student at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, will be visible on campus this next fall as she assists Mike Larkin in the development of the IGNITE program.
Robert is a 1979 graduate of LIFE Bible College. He went on to receive his Master of Divinity from Asbury Seminary and his Doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2002. With a strong educational background and a heart for the local church, Robert Flores is uniquely equipped to serve as a strong leader, demanding excellence in education, with a focus on equipping students to serve the Body of Christ in general, and the local church specifically.
Robert and DeeDee look forward to serving Life Pacific College with their whole hearts as the Board of Trustees begins the formal process of the Presidential Search. Please join us in prayer as we move forward trusting God to reveal his perfect plan in this process.
