BACHELOR OF ARTS - BIBLICAL STUDIES
Education Minor

This minor provides education and training for students preparing for a career in private, Christian schools. Upon completion of the program, students will have completed the requirements for an Association of Christian School International (ACSI) Standard Certificate. Additionally, students are well-prepared to pursue graduate programs that lead to public school credential.* Students who successfully complete the Education Minor at Life Pacific College will achieve the following goals:

  • the elements of effective pedagogy,
  • the nature of life in schools,
  • the components of a successful career development,
  • the fundamental characteristics of a compassionate educator.

Students will acquire the skills necessary to:

  • articulate a Christian world-view of education,
  • begin a successful teaching career.

Students will value:

  • the role of education in the life of students,
  • the role that a teacher can play in transforming the lives of students.
